I just wanted to let you all know that while my trip is not nearly over yet (we are shopping in an Ugandan market today), I am out of Sudan. Though a little bitten, burned, and bruised, I survived!
I am nowhere near ready to begin sharing, as I am still mourning saying goodbye to my new Sudanese friends and trying desperately to process what I’ve experienced. I just wanted to let you know that I am healthy and safe, and definitely a changed person.
