let's be social!
After posting about our house, I feel like I should do a quick follow up! I hope that I didn’t come across as whiny or self-sacrificing, because that’s not how I intended to sound. I want to remain honest about what it means for us to make this move…not all of it is as exciting as I expected…in fact, a lot of it is much, much harder. However, through these difficult steps I am learning to depend on God in entirely new ways and through these steps, God is refining me (more about that later) for His glory.
I want to tell you quickly that I am beyond HONORED that God has chosen us to walk this path. Every single day I wake up and feel absolutely unworthy to be doing this. However, I am thankful that He is allowing us to serve in a capacity that puts us among the people we love so dearly. Beyond everything, (and to quote Peter Swann) we just want to be faithful.
I am THANKFUL that we get to trade our current house model in for this…
I truly, from the bottom of my heart, hope that we are able to glorify God each and every step of the way. Because that, folks, is what it’s all about!
